Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, creative, and customer-focused, with a background in food preparation and specialty coffee service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks including espresso-based coffees, smoothies, and teas
- Create fresh wraps, sandwiches, salads, and café-style snacks
- Maintain quality, consistency, and hygiene in all food and beverage preparation
- Greet and serve customers professionally and politely
- Operate the POS system and manage cash/card transactions accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the café and kitchen area
- Monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is needed
- Comply with UAE food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Barista experience in the UAE
- Skilled in preparing food items such as sandwiches, salads, and smoothies
- Solid knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
- Must hold a valid own visa (freelance or spouse)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented personality
Preferred Skills
- Latte art and cold brew experience
- UAE Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain it)
Additional Information
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Ras Al Khaimah before joining
- Language Requirements: Fluent English (Required), Arabic (Preferred)
